today that the Securities and Exchange Commission declared
the resale registration statements filed by U.S. Geothermal,
effective on January 29, 2010.

14, 2009) U.S. Geothermal is pleased to announce that its
wholly owned subsidiary USG Oregon LLC has signed a power
purchase agreement (“PPA”) with Idaho Power Company (“Idaho
Power”), a subsidiary of Idacorp, Inc (NYSE: IDA). The
25-year PPA provides for the sale of up to 25 megawatts
(“MW”) from the Neal Hot Springs project in eastern Oregon.

-(August 2008) - Drilling has
commenced on a new production well. Well SE-2 is intended to
expand the resource in support of the new power plant.

Neal Hot Spring Project
-(August 2008) - An in-fill
geophysical program is currently being completed to enhance
subsurface structural definition within the geothermal

Raft River Project
(October 2008) -
The power plant has operated at 99.9% availability
for the past 6 months. With the arrival of cooler fall
temperatures, power generation is increasing, with current
production in the range of 11 to 11.5 MW net.
